Arroyito in the province of Cordoba is well known for its huge population of doves and other wingshooting species. That is why; thousands of American and European hunters choose to visit us annually looking for the challenge of more than 1000 daily shots.
JJ Cacería offers 15,000 acres of private land only 20 minutes away from the lodge. Within our land we have a roost where 20.000.000 doves fly all day long, back and forth form it.
The dove hunting in Argentina season
The dove hunting in Argentina season is open the whole year long and depending on the time of the year we change dove shooting places; between August and March, doves reproduce, so there are more than in other times of the year, and we dove shoot close to the roost all day long. Between April and July we dove shoot in the sorghum, corn, sunflower or miller in the morning and where they drink or close to the roost in the afternoon.
Outside, the beautiful gardens invite guests to take a walk around flowers and singing of birds.

Lodging facilities:
Guests from all over the world enjoy very much our beautiful hunting lodge La Camila. The main house where hunters stay was built especially for hunters and it is a place that deserves to be visited. Each of the 11 double bedrooms has its own private bathroom, air conditioning, heating and guests can enjoy the quiet fire that burns every evening in the dining room’s fireplace.
A typical dove hunting day in Argentina:
Following an early American breakfast, hunters are transported to the dove shooting fields, located approximately 20 minutes from the lodge. Each hunter is assigned a birdboy who carries the shells, picks up the birds and caters him in every need.
A full lunch, with an Argentinean barbecue and the finest wines, is served in the field. After a short rest, it's time to go shooting again for the rest of the afternoon.
At the end of the day, our guests are welcomed back to the lodge with drinks, followed by dinner.

Doves have a great ability to change their course
in a matter of a thousandth of a second, which demands
precision shots, a steady hand and speed from the
hunter as well as the right calculation of flight
speed and direction.
At the same time, it gives the

I hunted at JJ Caceria this last summer and I have to say it was the experience of a lifetime. I hunt a lot, including Mexico, and I have never seen customer service and personal attention to the extent that I did when I stayed there. From a hunting standpoint, I expected great hunting, but it beat my expectations in everyway possible. Birds everywhere, all day long. Field lunches (and siestas) probably stand out in my mind more than anything. A person would have to experience this to know what I mean. Great food and wine in the evening in a very comfortable lodge always topped off a fantastic day. The worst day I had was the day I had to leave, but I will be back next summer ready for more

During our dove hunting time in Argentina our stay at the lodge was, without a doubt, a highlight of the trip for us. The hospitality, atmosphere, service and food were exceptional from the moment of first arrival. In May 2008 we were 8 guys visiting JJ Caceria to Argentina dove hunting trip for 4 days. One of the guys were there in 2007 and convinced the rest of us that this was the place to be for doves. It was no mistake at all – everything was first class; accommodation, food, service and shooting. Several guys joined the 1.000 pieces a day club and on days you didn’t go for numbers, there were plenty of difficult shots to do. At the same time the place was perfect to have a good time with some good friends and all evenings finished around the pool area with a good discussion and a drink. I enjoy the outdoors, but since my childhood, have never been an avid hunter. I was convinced by friends and family that an Argentinean Dove Hunt would be a great getaway. I had no expectations. I can only say that our Argentina dove hunting trip and experience at JJCaceria exceeded anything that I could have imagined. Truly an fantastic trip. The staff was incredible, the hunting was more than unbelievable - doves everywhere!!!. The accommodations and meals meet or exceed anything in the US. I cannot recommend JJCaceria highly enough.

This last February (2009) I, my non shooting wife and a friend visited JJ Garcia for three days of dove hunting in Argentina. We were promptly picked up at the Cordoba airport and driven to the dove hunting estancia where the food was good, the rooms fine and hospitality outstanding. The staff were very friendly to my wife while I was hunting (I should say shooting). We would hunt for couple hours in the morning, go back to the estancia for lunch and nap, then back out late afternoon for a couple more hours. I would shoot about 1500 rounds per day and could easily have fired double that if we had wanted to hunt longer each day. The doves flew endlessly. The staff was accommodating and flexible with the schedule. All in all it was a pleasant experience with a well run organization. Thanks Jose.

In February of 2009, I shot with JJ Caceria and had a great dove hunting trip. Every day was in different terrain and conditions. My favorite was pigeons over decoys. I had the pleasure of hunting with the JJ Caceria team in the fall of 2008. As it was my first Argentina dove hunting experience, I was somewhat skeptical about the number and quality of birds to expect. Despite claims made on websites, I have found other dove hunting experiences to be less than what was represented on the internet.
Once in Argentina, I went from skeptical to amaze in a matter of hours. Shortly after landing Cordoba, I was standing behind a blind and shooting dove from virtually every angle. In my first afternoon of hunting, I shot more birds than I did in the last 3 years hunting in South Texas – and this was just the beginning! To say the birds were plentiful would be an understatement – and this wasn’t even the high season.
The accommodations, food and most importantly the hunting, exceeded my expectations and I look forward to a return visit. I would eagerly recommendation the JJ Caceria team for your Argentina Dove hunting experience.

I'm returning from JJ Caceria today and I'm a little sad to have to go back to the regular daily grind. This was truly the trip of a lifetime. The food couldn't have been better! You guys really spoiled us with that incredible field lunch barbecue every day with such great meats, fresh dove and outstanding local wines. I've heard stories about Argentina dove hunting, but brother it's better than I could have ever imagined!!! I joined the thousand dove club on 2 out of the three days, and decided to let my shoulder rest and only shoot 700 on the last day. There are lots of places to dove hunting in Argentina, but your staff, your lodge and all the extras are what will keep me come back to JJ Caceria for many years to come.
