Duck hunting

Duck hunting in Argentina

Corrientes is one of the best areas for duck hunting in Argentina. This combined with Argentinian hospitality, worldwide famous beef and high quality wines makes for an unforgettable experience.

These are the duck species you may expect to shoot:

  • Rosy-billed Pochard
  • White-faced whistling duck
  • Speckeld teal
  • Silver teal
  • Southern Wigeon
  • Brazilian duck
  • Red Shoveler
  • White-cheeked pintail
  • Brown pintail.
  • Fulvous tree duck
  • Cinnamon teal

Description of a typical duck hunting day:

Following an early American breakfast, hunters are transported to the field. Accompanying each hunter is a guide or birdboy who carries shells, places the hunters in the blind, sets decoys, calls the birds and caters to every need.

Before noon, hunters return to the house for drinks and lunch. Following a little 'siesta', they return to the field for the afternoon hunt.

Duck hunts take place in the morning and during the afternoon we turn to the perdiz hunt.
